About this app
RailRes has been developed by the TrackSAFE Foundation for the Australian rail industry. It aims to assist rail employees to manage their immediate responses to stress and help build their resilience. The app provides a range of interactive and easy-to-use tools and exercises including progressive muscle relaxation and learning how to challenge and change negative or unhelpful thoughts. You can use the tools to ‘test’ your response to stress and ‘adjust’ your physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural reactions to stress. This app helps you test your resilience by taking a resilience survey, setting performance goals and keeping track of your progress over time. If you are a current rail employee (or family/friend) you can also directly access your Employee Assistance Program through ‘Immediate Assistance’ in the app. RailRes forms part of TrackSAFE’s trauma support tools and resources, which are developed for the rail industry to assist employees who might be exposed to trauma, and to help rail staff remain healthy.
