About this app
Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager frees you from the need to carry around a smartcard reader to access your PIV or CAC credentials. Instead, use an integrated solution from a derived credential partner, or use a YubiKey accessory. The derived credential solution is based on PIV or CAC smartcard credentials. Like the credentials on your smartcard, a derived credential is an electronic certificate. Unlike your smartcard credentials, derived credentials can be stored on your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile devices. The derived credential is a standard, defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-157 (NIST SP 800-157). Use Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager instead of your smartcard. • as an authentication factor to retrieve your email, log in to websites, and to access other enterprise resources online. • to sign PDF documents electronically. Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager is compatible with all major mobile email applications and browsers. Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager works with YubiKey. Credentials that are on a YubiKey, can be used the same as credentials stored on your mobile device. Note: Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager does not operate without the required Workspace ONE UEM infrastructure. Contact your IT administrator before installing Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager.
