About this app

Connect unrelated words through their meanings, not their spelling. HOW IT WORKS Each day’s puzzle challenges you to find a path between two words that don’t obviously belong together — like “sugar” and “peace.” You connect them through meaning, one tap at a time. Most players can win in 5-6 hops, but can you solve it with a 3-hop Genius route? PLAY YOUR OWN WAY There are millions of ways to win. You don’t need to know obscure trivia or exotic words. You only need your vocabulary and your imagination. How do YOU think two words connect? THE LANGUAGE MULTIVERSE Why does “smoke” feel close to “arid”? Dryness? Heat? You can feel it. You can think it. And you can wayfind through the curvature of your own mind’s map of language. PUNNY WORDS Dad jokes and word puzzles love a good pun. “Spring” means both ‘seasons’ and ‘coils.’ “Ground” links to both ‘earth’ and ‘electricity.’ “Punch” to both ‘fists’ and ‘beverages.’ Find these shapeshifting words to make the shortest paths. THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED • Puzzles start with a literary quote • Pop-up definitions for any word with a long-press • Unlimited hints • Zero ads • Works offline • No timer, no pressure TRY BEFORE YOU BUY • Free puzzles every Monday and Thursday • Free visual thesaurus for when you’re not playing • One single purchase unlocks every daily puzzle, plus the back archives Created with love by IDEA GAMES: Michael Douma, Greg Ligierko, Li Mei, and Orin Hargraves.
