nymea is a professional IoT platform that allows to link smart devices and services together. The nymea software is used for smart products like smart home gateways, intelligent and connective home appliances, energy control services, asset management applications, sensor data collectors and more. nymea is open source, written in Qt and offers the tools & step-by-step guides for your own device/service integration. nymea consists of 3 parts, nymea:core, nymea:app and nymea:cloud. nymea is running on embedded devices like a Raspberry Pi, or any other GNU/Linux based system, works like a translator for devices and services and allows them to interact with each other. The powerful rule engine allows to connect any available thing in the system and create individual scenes and behaviors for your environment. nymea:app is a frontend application for nymea:core. It allows to configure and control all functionality of nymea:core. nymea:cloud is an optional feature to enable remote access to nymea:core from anywhere, allows sending Push Notifications to mobile devices and other services requiring online connectivity.
