D-Brief is a multi-functional application that provides medical learners of all levels with rapid feedback on their performance. Several features are available and can be adjusted according to the level of the learner: Logbook * Evaluation of logbook reviewers Assessments (EPA and others) Daily recap Activity calendar Surveys Report of each type of evaluation, activities and surveys News feed This app is only available to university programs that opt for this interactive assessment tool. * Senior learners are assessed every 4-6 hours of procedures, according to the Ottawa Surgical Competency Operating Room Evaluation.
