The bulk of our brain training program is based on standardized reasoning assessment used for gifted testing in Canada and US. It is group-administered to Kindergarten to Grade 4 students. The test is designed to determine the student’s aptitude for learning. The result indicates a student’s IQ, and may be seenas predicting the student’s general achievement in school.This test covers questions related to three sets of abilities. Verbal – The verbal section assesses a student’s understanding of the structure of language and relationships between words. It measures the ability to use language for reasoning tasks. • Verbal Reasoning (Grade K to 2 only) • Oral Vocabulary (Grade K to 2 only) • Verbal Analogies (Grade 2 onwards) • Sentence Completion (Grade 3 onwards) • Verbal Classification (Grade 3 onwards)Quantitative – The quantitative area measures the student’s abilities for reasoning and problem solving using numbers and mathematical concepts. • Quantitative Concepts (Grade K to 2 only) • Relational Concepts (Grade K to 2 only) • Equation Building (Grade 2 onwards) • Number Analogies (Grade 3 onwards) • Number Puzzles (Grade 3 onwards) • Number Series (Grade 3 onwards)Non-Verbal – Questions in the nonverbal section contain diagrams and pictures.
