About this app
From an early age, we learned what to do, what not to do, how to do some things, and how not to do some things. While this early learning can be modified, it forms the basis of how we view the world and how we do certain things. This is the same with our behavioural preferences. When we work, we develop a preference that we feel comfortable with, usually one that plays to our natural strengths. Unless we develop skills in adapting this preference, we tend to manage situations in the same way regardless of the situation. We call these patterns of behaviour 'working styles'. While we do employ behaviours from four identified styles in our day-to-day work, we tend to draw upon a primary style that we rely upon and prefer to use. This assessment will help you understand your own primary style, and ways you can work more effectively with people with a different style preference.
