About this app
Award-winning work of the Digital Picture Book Award(Japan) FLOAT is an app that explores the issue of river litter. In this version, you can play in four different rivers: the Arakawa River, the Nile River, the Yellow River, and the Mekong River. [How to Play] 1. Choose a river. 2. Tap or swipe to create waves, move the litter, and collect it in the white basket. [Time Warp] With the Time Warp feature, you can travel back in time. The types of litter and the creatures you encounter will change depending on the era. [ZEN Mode] Tap the switch in the upper-left corner of the play screen to open the options menu. From there, you can turn on "ZEN Mode". [Connecting the Game to the Real World] By watching ads, making in-app purchases, or buying NFT art, you can support real-world river clean-up efforts. Our team will actually collect litter from real rivers. The following options are available: #Plan-A Watch a 30-second video ad - Receive 4,000 in-app coins - Our team will collect 2 pieces of litter from a real river #Plan-B Unlock 1 stage ($0.99) - Our team will collect 4 pieces of litter from a real river #Plan-C Unlock all stages ($9.99) - Our team will collect 15 liters of litter from a real river *Any future locked content will be automatically unlocked after updates. #Plan-D Purchase special NFT art on OpenSea (FLOAT-RiverLitter) - Our team will collect 1 liter of litter per 0.002 ETH *Prices vary depending on the NFT. *The collection amount may change if the price of Ethereum fluctuates significantly. https://opensea.io/FLOAT-RiverLitter *Please note: In Plans B and C, litter collection is a secondary feature. The main benefit is unlocking game content. For now, clean-up activities will take place on the left bank near the mouth of the Arakawa River (about 3 km upstream from Tokyo Bay), where litter tends to accumulate. [Activity Reports] You can check the total number of ad views and purchases on our website. In the app, tap the "i" icon → tap "FLOAT REPORT" to visit the site. Please note that updates may take a few weeks to appear. We will regularly share: - Total ad views - Total purchases - Proof photos of collected litter For NFT sales, please check the OpenSea page. This project is a social experiment. We will continue improving it through trial and error. All proceeds will be used for practical and educational efforts to address river and ocean litter. [Notes] #1 About Plastic This app does not promote eliminating or avoiding plastic. Plastic is a useful and important material in modern life. We believe the real issues are: - Illegal dumping - Improper waste management - Excessive use #2 Performance Tips If the water movement feels heavy: Tap the gear icon on the title screen → tap the monitor icon → set graphics to "MID" or "LOW".
