Ever found yourself manually copying text from an image or typing a long number or text that you couldn't just copy/paste ? Well this app solves that by enabling you to scan and transcribe that text and copy it to the clipboard. Simply place the text viewer on the text you want to copy and copy it. This OCR is highly accurate and can save you a lot of precious time along the way. Currently it scans English text and future versions will add more languages. It also includes a barcode (including QR) reader. The app also has text-to-speech abilities so you can have text read out to you in one of the many currently supported languages: English / Italian / French / German / Portuguese / Spanish and using a variety of voices and accents. 22 voices ship with this version-all for free. The app works offline and all processing is done locally. No data leaves your Mac. You will need to give access to the app via System preferences > Privacy the first time you run the app. This is essential for capturing and reading the screen area selected. Privacy policy: We do not collect, handle or processes any data of our customers and visitors. All app processing is done on the Mac itself without requiring any Internet connection.
