Pitch Counter & Baseball Stats is the most complete baseball and softball stat capture app available — rebuilt from the ground up in Swift and SwiftUI for modern iOS, with full support for both pitching AND hitting statistics in a single outing. PITCHING STATS Track every pitch with a single touch. The interface is designed for one-handed use, with the Ball button ergonomically placed for your right thumb and all key outcomes reachable without shifting your grip. Every event updates live stats displayed directly on the capture screen. Pitch events captured: Ball, KS (Swinging), KL (Looking), Foul, Wild Pitch, Passed Ball, Error, Balk, Stolen Base, Dropped 3rd Strike, Hit By Pitch, Intentional Walk, and all hit/out outcomes. Live pitching stats: Pitch Count, Strike%, First-Pitch Strike%, ERA (configurable for 5–9 inning games), WHIP, FIP, K%, IP, Hits, Walks, Strikeouts, Earned Runs, and more. HITTING STATS — NEW Switch to Hitting mode on the same outing to track the same player's at-bats. Capture every plate appearance with the same minimal-touch philosophy. Live hitting stats: AVG, OBP, SLG, OPS, BABIP, ISO, wOBA, RBI, Runs, Stolen Bases, K%, BB%, and full hit/out breakdowns. RELIEF PITCHER SUPPORT When a relief pitcher enters, start a new outing for the same game. Game-level statistics (outs, inning, runs, hits, errors) carry forward automatically so on-screen state always reflects true game context. SHARING & REPORTS Create an Apple Intelligence-powered Outing Summary for any completed outing, with a concise recap of pitching, hitting, or both. Requires Apple Intelligence. Generate detailed reports at the outing, game, season, and career level. All reports are available via email, text message, or the system share sheet. Every report includes a CSV attachment suitable for analysis in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets. Report options: • Outing Summary: Short Apple Intelligence-powered recap of a completed outing, including pitching, hitting, or both. Requires Apple Intelligence. • Outing: Full stats summary and pitch/PA sequence log for the current outing. • Game: Aggregated stats for all pitchers in the game, with complete event log. • Season: Season-long statistics for the pitcher across all outings in the selected season. • Career: All-time statistics for the pitcher across every recorded outing, regardless of season. OUTING MANAGEMENT • Chip-based filtering: quickly find outings by pitcher, team, or season. • Lock completed outings to prevent accidental edits. • Undo: correct any mis-entered event instantly. • Haptic feedback on every pitch entry (optional). SETTINGS • ERA calculation base: select 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 innings to match your league format. • Haptic feedback: primary events only, or all events. • Legacy data import: existing Pitch Counter users can migrate their full outing history. • Fixed relief pitcher inning, out, and shared stats displays, especially when entering with inherited outs or counts. • Improved Dropped Third Strike handling so it is only available immediately after a strikeout and no longer affects inherited game outs incorrectly. • Improved migrated legacy relief outings so stats rebuild correctly when opened.
