Tempermental

About this app

Convert temperatures instantly with two simple, synchronized wheels. Tempermental makes it easy to move between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Turn either wheel and the other updates to the matching temperature. Tap the swap button to place your preferred scale on top. With your permission, Tempermental can check the current weather when the app opens. The wheels start at your local temperature, so you can see the Fahrenheit and Celsius conversion right away. After that, you’re free to explore any temperature you like. Features: • Fast Fahrenheit-to-Celsius and Celsius-to-Fahrenheit conversion • Large, easy-to-read temperature wheels • One-tap wheel swapping • Optional current local temperature from Apple Weather • Light and dark mode support • No account required Whether you’re checking the forecast, following a recipe, planning travel, or simply curious, Tempermental keeps temperature conversion clear and effortless. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. Location access is used only to retrieve the current weather when you open the app.

Tempermental has been refreshed for modern iPhones. • See the current local temperature when the app opens, powered by Apple Weather • Start both wheels at the matching Fahrenheit and Celsius values • Swap the two temperature wheels with a smooth, reliable animation • Enjoy improved spacing, larger wheels, and a swap button that stays centered on every screen size • View current temperatures clearly in light or dark mode • Additional accessibility and reliability improvements

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
