ichGlaub is a Anabaptist collection of historical and theological Christian books used by Christians throughout USA and Canada. Most of the books were originally written in German and later translated into English. One example is Riedemann's Confession of faith which was written in prison during 1540-42 for the Lutheran ruler, Philip of Hesse. He explains his goal of a renewed community and dispels popular misconceptions. His dynamic vision of radical and communal discipleship still challenges believers toward a greater faithfulness to the Lord and to each other. Riedemann creatively weaves together a fresh reading of the Bible with the classical creeds. He produces a powerful synthesis of Scripture and tradition on which to base Christian community.
