Tom Tierney, paper doll artist extraordinaire, presents a collection inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. This sampler is based on two stories: The Red Shoes and The Match Girl. Each page has several movable pieces and will appeal to young girls and paper doll collectors. After a successful career as fashion illustrator for JCPenney, Harper's Bazaar, Lane Bryant and Sports Illustrated, Tom Tierney began producing paper doll collections in 1976. Today he is likely the most-published paper doll artist in the world, with dozens of books and magazines featuring his character designs.
