Use anywhere with no need to go to a running track. Set and store specific distances you want to stop timer at. For instance, a sprinter can set distance to 100 meters. The timer will start on go and automatically stop at 100m to within the GPS accuracy. Practice your starts with the false start detection (patent pending) and reaction time features. Select from multiple activities such as sprinting, distance running, jogging, walking, hiking and biking. The algorithms for each activity are tuned to that specific activity to achieve accuracy while conserving battery power. Plot your speed over distance. Review your activity on maps.
