About this app
Prodigy is a native iOS chat client for OpenAI* and Anthropic*, with an optional on-device mode on supported iPhones running iOS 26. Bring your own API key and talk to GPT, Claude, or run locally with no key at all — from a clean, focused interface. All conversations live on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no servers. The app talks directly to whichever provider you choose. Features • Multiple providers — OpenAI, Anthropic, and an on-device mode on iOS 26 devices that support it. • Live model picker — fetched fresh from each provider's catalogue, searchable, always up to date. • Streaming replies with stop, regenerate, and edit-and-resend. • Local chat history — searchable, grouped by date, with rename, delete, and one-tap compact for long conversations. • Image attachments for vision-capable models — Photo Library and Camera. • Markdown rendering with syntax-highlighted code blocks. • Built-in personas — Friendly Scientist, Software Engineer, Life Coach, Comedian, and more. Or write your own. • Designed for iOS 26 with Liquid Glass, dark mode, and Dynamic Type support. Privacy API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain. Chat history lives on your device. No analytics, no servers, no tracking. Requirements An API key from your chosen provider. On-device mode requires iOS 26 and an eligible device. *Not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic. Use according to each provider's terms.
