What’s New
New Features Smart Home Integration — Alexa Account Linking Link your Daikin HERO account with Amazon Alexa directly from within the app. Simply tap "Link with Alexa" and follow the guided consent flow to enable voice control of your indoor units — no manual credential entry required. Single Sign-On (SSO) Support HERO Mobile now supports OIDC-based Single Sign-On integration. Organizations can connect their existing identity provider (e.g., Okta) to enable users to log in with their corporate credentials. Contact your Daikin representative to request SSO setup for your organization. Enhancements Social Login Account Visibility When signing in with a social account (Google, Facebook, Apple) that doesn't have site access, the app now displays which email was used for authentication — helping users identify if the wrong account was selected. EULA Update A new End User License Agreement is presented to users upon their next login. Acceptance is required to continue using the app. Bug Fixes This release includes bug fixes addressing: Resolved an issue where the unit rename functionality was not working for certain user roles in the Tenant Application. Fixed weather information display and dropdown alignment issues for specific user roles. Notes Users will be prompted to accept the updated EULA on their next login.
