About this app
The Academic Education Platform (Abp e.V. for short) is a non-profit association founded on April 1, 1996 by active parents and students with a migrant background. The founders recognized the obstacles faced by families with low incomes and low educational attainment. Since then, Abp e.V. has been striving for educational justice and aims to help children, young people and adults with school, language, vocational and social issues. One of the main points of our mission is to support people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Through our services, we want to help them gain a foothold in the local labor market and strengthen their social participation. Our association is certified according to the AZAV standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and strives to ensure a consistently high quality standard. In addition to being well networked with offices and authorities in the city and district of Kassel and the other four districts, our network is expanding nationwide. To this end, we feel committed to living and upholding the German Equal Treatment Act (Allgemeine Gleichbehandlungsgesetz) as a business culture.
