The application "Иона бороруок кинигэтэ" is for native speakers of the Yakut language, and for those who take an interest in them. It includes the translation of one of the books of the Old Testament into the Yakut language - the Book of the Prophet Jonah. The translation was carried out by a group of specialists in the field of biblical studies and linguistics from the Institute for Bible Translation in Yakutsk and Moscow. This application provides the ability to study the Holy Scriptures. It contains both the translation into the Yakut language, and other translations (Russian Synodal and English World English Bible) which can be displayed in parallel on demand. The biblical text has footnotes that provide cultural and historical information. The application features illustrations in the Yakut national style. Users can search the text for words, highlight verses in different colors, place bookmarks, write notes, view the reading history and share the link to the application with other users. The app contains the audio recordings that are synchronised with the text.
