About this app
Ariakon Break Meter is a private, local-first training tool for pool players who want to understand and improve their break. Place your phone safely on the rail, tap I'm Ready, and take your break. The app listens for the cue-ball and rack impacts, estimates cue-ball speed, and presents a focused waveform for review. Features: - On-device break-speed estimation - Interactive table setup for table size, rack, and cue-ball position - 8-ball and 9-ball rack support - Focused waveform with adjustable impact markers and manual rack-impact recovery - Confidence feedback and invalid-capture guidance - Local break history, filters, notes, and insights - Cue tracking and cue-to-cue comparisons - Player QR code for supported Ariakon event workflows - Fully functional offline operation - No advertising, tracking, analytics, or cloud upload in this release - Local profile and complete in-app data deletion Microphone recording begins only after you tap I'm Ready. Audio and results are processed and stored on your device. Ariakon Break Meter estimates speed from sound; it is not a certified speed or force sensor.
