THE BACKSTORY I'm Samuel, a design engineer who can't stop running, cycling, and skiing. I ran the Stockholm half marathon with a cold and ended up with pneumonia. Spent months rebuilding from 15-minute walks back to real training. I built Shape to plan that comeback — now it's how I train smarter every day. New Today tab. Readiness, training load and your health data, the moment you open the app. - Readiness tells you whether today is a day to push or back off, and what is behind the call. - Training Load Balance shows whether you are doing too much or too little, and it looks ahead. Your planned workouts extend the line, so you see a spike coming before you train it. - Fitness, fatigue and form, projected forward from your plan. - Your daily health metrics from Apple Health and Garmin: sleep, VO2 max, weight, HRV, steps and the rest. - Recorded workouts open a full detail screen: route map, pace, heart rate, power, splits and zones. - Swims now carry training load, from your critical swim speed. - Various bug fixes and improvements. Training load needs your numbers. Add your max HR, FTP or threshold paces in Settings > Performance. If you have never set them, Shape scores your existing history too.
