About this app
SHINE is an application to track and assist the homeless population of San Joaquin county. Our mission is to ensure support to the homeless people and their families, provide them with shelters and guide them back to a sound livelihood. The application also provides safety and security features for the county personnels.

Improvements: Migrated the Google Places SDK to the latest supported APIs. Updated the application to use the new Google Places API in preparation for Google's deprecation of legacy Places SDK methods. Improved compatibility with upcoming Google Places SDK releases. General stability and maintenance improvements. User Impact: No functional or UI changes. This release contains backend and SDK maintenance updates only. No action is required from users, and a force update is not necessary.
