making plans got hard. someone in the group chat says "we should do something this weekend." 12 messages later, no one's committed. someone suggests saturday. someone else can only do sunday. half the chat stops reading. by friday, the thread is dead. saturday comes. nothing happens. multiply that by every group chat you're in. pronto is the fix. → drop a beacon — a plan you're doing in the next few hours or the next day → your friends get a notification → they tap, they're in → you get a ping. nobody has to "reply all." the rules are simple: — plans have to start within 24 hours — friends are people you've added, not people who follow you — no algorithm, no feed, no engagement metrics — no "people you may know" — no public profiles — no group chats with 47 unread just the people you've actually met. and a plan. built in new york city.
