K12 Games: MathBee is a fun, educational math game for learners ages 7–11 and aligned with grades 2–5 curriculum standards. With MathBee, learners engage in meaningful math practice that aligns with classroom goals. MathBee uses the popular bubble-shooter game mechanic. Your child can enjoy two MathBee game-play modes: 1-player (Free the Bees) or 2-player (Beehive Battles). Your child can earn coins to buy costumes for their bee in the in-game shop. Math skills covered: Addition and subtraction Multiplication and division Place value Fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals Money and measurement While the skills in MathBee align to learning objectives in grades 2–5, players of all ages will find themselves unable to stop battling or freeing the bees! MathBee features: One- and two-player game modes allow for user choice in play style 63 total levels (50 one-player levels and 13 two-player levels) keep players engaged First level of each “hive” (math topic) unlocked; players unlock additional levels as they play Public and private matching options for two-player mode (match with a random opponent, or directly challenge a friend) ensure players can always find an opponent Players earn coins from game play in both modes, and can use coins to purchase bee costumes from the in-game shop Achievement badges promote level replay Engaging audio, visual effects, and math-themed power-ups keep players motivated to learn and progress
