About this app

Vertiscoper is a fast, creator-focused tool that desqueezes anamorphic photos and videos directly on your iPhone, ready to post in seconds.
Perfect for anamorphic photographers, content creators, mobile filmmakers and anyone chasing cinematic results on the go without a desktop. As a cinematographer who’s always chasing new looks and creative possibilities, I developed Vertiscoper out of my own need for a simple and fast anamorphic workflow, no matter if the lens is mounted for a vertical or in a classic horizontal setup. With today’s demand for fast, social-ready content, shooting “Vertiscope” is my go-to way to capture flexible ≈1:1 masters, ready for any format. TOP FEATURES: – desqueeze vertically or horizontally in one app – camera RAW import: DNG, Sony (ARW), Nikon (NEF), Canon (CR2/CR3), Fujifilm (RAF) and more – no DNG conversion needed – import from Photo Library, Files or straight from the Photos share sheet ("Import to Vertiscoper") – direct card reader import via Files – share desqueezed photos and videos to any app right from Vertiscoper – photo batch processing – wide range of desqueeze factor presets from 1.25× to 2.0× – custom desqueeze factor – check before-after with touch and hold on preview image – EXIF data and color profile preserved – 10-bit HDR videos keep their full dynamic range – fast hardware-accelerated video export – one-time purchase, no subscription SUPPORTED FORMATS: IMAGES JPG, TIFF, DNG, Apple ProRAW and camera RAW from Sony, Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Leica and many more. If a rare RAW format isn't readable on your device, convert it to DNG, TIFF or JPEG (e.g. in Lightroom) before importing. Desqueezed RAW photos will be saved as TIFF. VIDEO H.264, H.265 and Apple ProRes are supported, including 10-bit HDR (HLG/PQ). Please convert other video formats before importing. Desqueezed videos will be saved as H.265 (HEVC) or ProRes when the source is ProRes. Need help or found a bug? If you’re experiencing an issue, have feature suggestions, or just want to share feedback, I’d love to hear from you. Please include your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened – that helps me improve Vertiscoper for everyone. Contact: vertiscoper@alex-zimmermann.com
