UNDER THE SCRIBE'S SEAL. Thoth was built with one rule: your data stays yours. It's a native iPhone and iPad transcription and meeting assistant that processes audio locally. No cloud uploads, no hidden servers, no tracking. Optional cloud AI features use your own API keys and go directly to your chosen provider. We never see a byte. ON-DEVICE ANONYMIZATION Before a transcript reaches a cloud AI provider, Thoth detects names, places, emails, and phone numbers on your device and swaps them for tokens, restored locally after the response returns. You review what gets sent. One option runs models inside secure hardware enclaves with provable zero data retention, and Thoth verifies the attestation inside the app before each session. See what your own API key costs. When you use your own key for cloud AI, Thoth now shows what each request actually cost, taken from the figures your provider reports rather than an estimate. Settings keeps a running total per provider and per month. It stays on your device and is never synced. Prices are fetched online, so they stay current without waiting for an app update. Anything that runs on your device stays free, and says so. Some models think for minutes before answering. You can now skip the reasoning and get an answer straight away, and the reasoning panel follows along as the model thinks instead of staying stuck on its first few lines. Thoth for iPhone and iPad also gets its own release notes: you can now read what changed in Settings, and see the highlights after an update. Fixes: Cancelling an AI request now really cancels it. It used to keep running in the background, so you were still charged for a response you had abandoned. Cancelling a summary could overwrite an existing summary with an empty one, and could offer to save that empty result to Notes. The first section of a summary could disappear from the result, depending on how the model formatted its answer. The transcription engine shown under a recording title used its internal identifier, which was long enough to wrap onto a second line. The app is called Thoth, and now says so. It installed itself as ThothiOS on your Home Screen. You can report a bug or ask for help straight from Settings. Version 1.0 shipped with no way to reach us from inside the app. The subscription screen could show two different currencies side by side when your device language and your App Store country disagreed. Thoth now asks for a review at most once a year, and only after the app has actually been useful to you.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
