About this app
Tick-tock timer is a small app that is designed to help people who are making/mending clocks get the balance of the ticks and tocks correct. It averages the time of the ticks and tocks over 60 seconds, and displays the running average. The user is able to adjust the volume threshold for the ticks and tocks in order to cut out background noise, and also to ignore any amplitude peaks within a certain time of the tick/tock in case there are stutters etc. The app has a button that will allow the display to be upside down so that you can point the microphone towards the clock and still see the controls the right way up.
