About this app
CloudArc is a Mac app for U.S. stock research. Write your idea in plain English. CloudArc turns it into strategy code, runs a backtest on your Mac, lets you try the idea in a paper account, then helps you watch the market with live alerts. Four steps, one place—no Python required. What's new Live watchlist and condition alerts Add tickers, pull live quotes, and set rules (price breakouts, volume spikes, and similar). When a rule hits during the session, you get a notification on your Mac. What you can do • Build a strategy without coding Describe entries, exits, and risk in everyday language. CloudArc writes runnable strategy code you can keep and change later. • See if it worked in history Backtest on your Mac with commissions, slippage, and position sizing. Read the equity curve, Sharpe ratio, max drawdown, win rate, and compare strategies next to each other. • Practice on a paper account Use a local simulated account to walk through trades before real money. CloudArc is not a brokerage and does not place live orders for you. • Stay on top of the session Keep a watchlist with live quotes and condition alerts so your rules can follow you into the trading day. • Keep work on your Mac Strategies, backtests, and local data stay on your computer. We do not upload your strategy source code to our servers. Add your own model API keys (DeepSeek, Qwen, or other compatible endpoints) in the Mac keychain. Who it's for • Traders who have rules in their head but do not write code • People who want a short path from idea → numbers → practice → alerts • Anyone who prefers local tools over cloud quant platforms IMPORTANT CloudArc is for research and learning only. It is not investment advice and does not promise results. Past backtests do not predict the future. Live trading decisions are yours.
