Donna isn't a social media app. It's social infrastructure. Every social media app out there with swiping, scrolling, likes, and comments, the cold DMs, the performative profiles, and thousands of strangers as followers were built for entertainment. Not so much for actual connections. Donna was built for one thing: getting you to the right person, for the right moment, instantly. Here's how it works. When you join, Donna doesn't just ask you to fill out a profile. She understands you. Through voice onboarding, she asks the deeper questions that a perceptive friend would ask; not just the surface-level hobbies, but who you actually are, what kind of people you come alive around, and what you're looking for right now. That conversation becomes the foundation of the user’s Smart Persona that gets sharper every time you interact with Donna. After the onboarding, when you’re in the app, you can make a connection request like a study partner, a gym buddy, someone to explore the city with, etc., by just asking Donna. She searches her entire network by activity, personality, vibe, and timing. She finds the top five people who would be a great fit and most likely down for it, and does a broadcast request (reaches out to them on your behalf with a warm intro), and whoever confirms first gets connected to you. Both sides opted in. No cold outreach. No fear of rejection. No awkwardness. And Donna doesn't just wait for you to ask. The location-based matching feature helps you identify amazing people around you. Eg- If you walk into the library and she spots someone nearby who matches your vibe, same class, same energy, same time - she'll notify and connect you. Right place, right time, right person. After every connection, Donna follows up to check in on whether they liked their match. Every answer helps her understand you better, so the next match is even better. No swiping. No scrolling. No static rusty profiles. No judgment. Just tell Donna what you want to do; she handles the search and connection, so you can just go do it.

Introducing group activities. Tell Donna what you're up for, like pickup basketball, a study session, or dinner. She posts it as a group activity, invites students who'd actually be into it, and drops everyone into a group chat. You can also open the compass to browse group activities near you and join in one tap.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
