About this app

Planetia puts the entire solar system in your child's hands. Tap a planet to fly there. Read fun facts about its moons, size, and weather. Watch the orbits spin. It's the kind of app that turns a rainy Tuesday into a trip to Saturn. EXPLORE THE SOLAR SYSTEM Fly between all eight planets, their moons, and Pluto in a beautiful 3D solar system. Tap any world to zoom in, discover facts written for young readers, and see how it compares to Earth. A discovery tracker counts every world your child visits. COMPARE SIZES How big is Jupiter compared to Earth? Kids place planets side by side and see for themselves. If Earth were a grape, Jupiter would be a basketball. Toggle between size comparison and distance comparison to see the solar system from two perspectives. TAKE SPACE QUIZZES Four question types keep things interesting: true or false, multiple choice, find the planet, and put-them-in-order challenges. Kids earn collectible badges and climb ranks from Space Cadet all the way to Admiral. A daily question builds a learning streak. PAINT YOUR PLANETS What would Mars look like in purple? Kids pick colors and paint any planet however they want. Add diagonal stripes, polka dots, hearts, or stars. Creative play meets space science. WHAT IF? What happens if Jupiter disappears? What if Earth had two suns? Kids change the rules of the solar system and watch what happens to the orbits. Real gravitational physics, made playful. Or build a custom experiment from scratch: pick a planet, make it bigger, smaller, heavier, or remove it entirely, and hit "Run It!" to see the result. BUILD YOUR OWN SOLAR SYSTEM Place stars, planets, and moons wherever you want. Choose colors, adjust sizes, set orbit speeds, and watch your creation come to life. Switch to gravity mode to see if your solar system survives real physics. Save your systems and come back to them later. DESIGNED FOR KIDS AND PARENTS Planetia is built for the Apple Kids Category (ages 5-9). No ads. No in-app purchases. No social features. No data collection. No accounts to create. The app works entirely offline after download. Everything is unlocked from start. A 7-day free trial lets your child explore every feature before you decide. Then a single one-time purchase unlocks everything forever. No subscriptions. No recurring charges. Family Sharing supported, so one purchase covers every iPad in your household. WHY PLANETIA EXISTS I built Planetia because my kids kept asking about the planets and I couldn't find an app that let them actually play with the solar system. Everything was static images or passive videos. I wanted them to touch Saturn, paint Jupiter pink, remove the Sun and watch what happens. So I built it. Planetia is made by one parent, not a studio. There are no ads, no data tracking, no dark patterns. Just a space app I'd want my own kids to use. Six ways to play, not just one. It's an app kids grow with, not out of.
