Ahns Metronome

About this app

One precision metronome for practice, composition, and the stage. A low-latency native audio engine schedules every tick at the sample level, so the beat never drifts at any tempo. Six metronome modes • Basic — Standard meters like 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 9/8, 12/8 with 8th/16th/32nd and triplet/sextuplet subdivisions and accents. True 6/8 notation (dotted quarter = one beat). • Advanced — Build patterns slot by slot: accents, off-beats, ghost notes, and rests, with subdivisions, swing, and multi-bar phrases on one screen. Reproduce jazz shuffle, Latin clave, and Balkan rhythms exactly. • Polyrhythm — Any ratio — 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:7 and beyond — with up to four simultaneous tracks. Made for progressive rock, contemporary classical, and African/Indian music. • Metric Modulation — Alternate A/B meters over a shared pulse to shift tempo, from classic modulations (dotted quarter = quarter) to arbitrary ratios. • Mixed — Enter and play songs whose meter changes bar to bar (5/8 → 7/8 → 4/4). Perfect for Stravinsky, metal, and prog-rock. • Visual Pulse — Show the beat as a silent on-screen flash for loud rehearsal rooms or silent practice. Precise tempo control • 20–400 BPM in 0.1 steps via a haptic dial and keypad. • Tap tempo with five calculation methods and a precision readout. • A three-level beat indicator (accent / normal / ghost) shows exactly where you are. Turn practice into progress • Training courses that ramp the tempo automatically up to your goal, built in bars or seconds. • A practice journal that logs every session automatically — and turns any log into a course. Stage and gear • Setlists that save BPM and meter per song and switch with a swipe on stage. • MIDI: a clock master that sends standard MIDI Clock (24 PPQN) to external gear over USB or BLE, with live tempo changes while sending. Practice together • Share courses, presets, and practice logs to the community and download them right from the web. • Create friends and groups to control who sees what. Make it yours • Nine sound sets and distinct accent/normal vibration. • Beat light — flash a single beat or the full screen in any color. • Five themes (Dark, Galaxy, Wood, Sapphire, Plum) and a wide layout for tablets and foldables. • Korean and English. Use the core features right away, no account required. Premium Some advanced features — Training, MIDI, Setlist, and more — are Premium, available via in-app purchase or by watching a rewarded ad.

• External keyboard: Space to play/stop, Up/Down for BPM, Left/Right for songs. • The base note value is kept per mode and no longer shifts your tempo. • Fixed previous song settings lingering in a setlist. • Fixed sound or the notification remaining after you stop. • Fixed the notification's Stop button not responding. • Fixed swing being capped at 75% when set to 90%. • Fixed polyrhythm layers sharing one color in light theme. • Fixed premium features locking while offline.
