About this app

SafeCycle Toronto plans cycling routes through the city the way an experienced rider would: prefer protected bike lanes, calmer residentials, and laneways over busy arterials, even when the arterial is shorter. The app uses Toronto's Level of Traffic Stress (LTS) data — a four-tier rating that scores every street segment by how comfortable it is to cycle on — and combines it with custom routing rules built specifically for cyclist safety.
