About this app
Meet Mochi - your stress, with a face. Mochi is a stress companion for iPhone and Apple Watch. Instead of showing you a number and leaving you to interpret it, Mochi shows you himself: a small character whose color, mood, and surroundings reflect what your body is actually doing right now. Powered by HRV (heart rate variability) and resting heart rate from Apple Health, Mochi turns physiological data into something you can feel at a glance — and gently nudges you toward the small daily habits that actually lower stress over time. How Mochi reflects your day - Calm — matcha green, sipping tea in morning light - Balanced — sakura pink, holding a cherry blossom under a bright sky - Tense — warm amber at golden hour, holding a mandarin - Strained — lavender at twilight, wrapped in a small bundle - Overload — deep blue at night, lit by a small warm lamp Same Mochi, same scene — five emotional states, five times of day. A full arc from morning calm to evening exhaustion, lived through one character. What's inside - Today — Mochi's current state, your HRV and RHR, a short breath ritual - Habits — sleep regularity, movement, mindfulness, daylight - History — your stress timeline by hour, day, and week - Body — HRV baseline, resting heart rate, VO2, biological age - Settings — watch widgets, subscription, profile Built on your own baseline Mochi compares your HRV to your own 7-day baseline, not to population averages. "Above your usual" means more than a generic "good." Your body, your numbers. Privacy first No account. No cloud. No tracking. Everything stays on your iPhone. Requirements iPhone running iOS 17.6 or later. Apple Watch recommended for live HRV data. Subscription prices and terms Mochi can be downloaded for free. If you choose to upgrade to the Mochi Pro version, you can unlock all paid features. We offer two different purchase options: monthly, and annual auto-renewal. What’s New
Mochi got a lot more honest, and a lot easier to fix when something's off. - Your stress reading is more accurate. Ordinary days were being labelled "Tense" far too often, and when Mochi had nothing to work with he'd guess instead of saying so. He now says "No reading yet", and keeps the alarming words for days that earn them. - When a screen is empty, Mochi explains why. No Apple Watch, Health access switched off, or simply not enough days yet. Each one now gets a clear answer and a way to fix it, instead of a blank chart. - Water and caffeine, rebuilt. Tap a card to open it, tap an amount to log it, and actually see it land. Set your own daily goal for both, and read the whole day's history at a glance. - New watch face complications. Stress and HRV are now compact dials with a marker showing where you stand, plus water and caffeine rings. Your character also works on single-colour watch faces. - And a lot of small things. Buttons that answer when you press them, clearer wording throughout, and more fixes than would fit here. Mochi is more careful, and more honest, than he was a month ago. Thank you for keeping him with you. Most of this list started as a message from someone using him.
