Jersey Tides now runs beautifully on iPad. The app has been fully redesigned for larger screens, with today and tomorrow's tide forecasts shown side by side, a two-column 14-day table, and a compact floating tab bar at the bottom of the screen. The Widgets tab has also been updated with a two-column layout on iPad, so everything is easy to browse without scrolling. On the home screen, there is a new widget option: Next Tide Type. It uses the same circular gauge design as the existing small widget but shows whether the next tide is High or Low Water rather than the direction of travel, giving you a different glance-friendly option to choose from. The Today's Forecast table widget has been improved with better proportions and clearer column spacing.
