Most voice changers send your audio to a server. Nymic doesn't. Inference, voice creation, recording, playback —runs entirely on your iPhone. No audio leaves your device. Ever. Nymic ships with 30 AI voice presets spanning a natural range of male and female voices. Each preset is a neural voice model — WavLM features matched to a speaker bank, then synthesized by a HiFiGAN vocoder — all running locally. Voice packs are delivered through Apple On-Demand Resources: download only the voices you want. Want a voice that's yours alone? Record any source audio and Nymic builds a custom voice on device from it. That audio never touches a server. Neither does the resulting voice model. Privacy is not a toggle in Nymic.
