About this app

Vitora is a health and fitness tracker for iPhone that does exactly what the name promises: it computes. No cloud algorithm crunches your data, no account is required, no server ever sees your numbers. Everything happens on your phone. Four scores give you a clear picture every morning: Recovery Score Your overnight HRV, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, and sleep, measured against your own baseline instead of a generic scale. Strain Score Your training load from real workouts, calculated with Karvonen heart rate reserve zones and the Acute:Chronic Workload Ratio from sports science. Body Battery An ongoing energy index that recharges overnight and drains through the day with activity. Sleep Score Duration, quality, and consistency, read directly from your HealthKit sleep stages. The four scores add up to a single recommendation: push hard, hold steady, or rest. Every formula is transparent, there’s no black box. Logging food takes seconds: snap a photo, type a quick description, dictate it, or scan a barcode. The AI analysis runs either right on your iPhone through Apple Intelligence, or through Vitora AI, always with your consent first. The Correlation Engine goes a step further: tag your day with things like caffeine, alcohol, or late meals, and Vitora runs a Welch’s t-test to see how it actually affects the morning after. Real statistics instead of guesswork, all computed on the device. Your dashboard, your rules: cards you can freely reorder, four visual themes from clean to industrial, plus home screen widgets and Siri shortcuts for the Action Button. Milestones like your first HRV baseline or a 7-day recovery streak quietly settle into an archive. No confetti pop-ups, no streak pressure. Privacy at Vitora isn’t a clause, it’s the architecture: there’s simply no server for anything to be sent to. Your data stays in Apple Health, a local database, and your iPhone’s keychain. Vitora is completely free, every feature included, no subscription and no ads. If it helps you and you’d like to support the development, please let a review in the App Store.

What’s New

Version 2.0 Aug 12, 2026

Vitora 2.0 is the biggest update yet. The app now has separate tabs for Dashboard, Journal, Nutrition and Workouts, plus a quick "+" button to log a meal by photo or barcode, your weight, or a supplement in one step. The dashboard is clearer, with Recovery, Sleep and Strain grouped at the top and every card switchable or reorderable. The journal got a full rebuild with richer entries, the ability to fill in past days, and pattern detection between habits and how you feel. Every metric now has its own detail page with 30 day, 3, 6 and 12 month charts, draggable value readouts, and your personal normal range shown as a band. AI meal recognition now returns individual ingredients you can correct, with totals updating automatically. And there's a new fifth design theme, Bloom, soft and illustrated, available in Profile → Design.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
