About this app
At the grocery store, you need an answer before you buy. HalalLabel AI helps Muslims scan product barcodes, ingredient labels, or pasted ingredient lists and review halal, haram, and mushbooh signals with evidence. Made for everyday grocery shopping, imported snacks, travel, and unclear ingredient names. What you can do: - Scan a barcode first and check available Open Food Facts product data. - If barcode data is missing or incomplete, scan the ingredient label with OCR. - Review and edit the recognized text before AI analysis. - Check high-risk ingredients such as gelatin, E-numbers, alcohol, pork-derived additives, enzymes, rennet, emulsifiers, and carmine. - Review ingredient-level reasons, confidence, source, rule profile, and evidence notes. - Save useful results and revisit previous checks on your device. - Use supported languages including English, Malay, Indonesian, Arabic, Turkish, French, Urdu, and Traditional Chinese. Important: HalalLabel AI is a decision-support tool. It is not a halal certification body and does not replace official or recognized certification. When a decision matters, check the package, manufacturer, or relevant halal authority. Anonymous use is supported. Cloud AI and OCR features require an internet connection and may be subject to free monthly limits or premium entitlement.
