About this app
This update adds an optional "Automatic Parking Detection" feature. - It is OFF by default and must be enabled by the user in Settings. When enabling, a consent screen explains why "Always" location and Motion permissions are needed. - When enabled, the app uses background location (Always) together with motion activity to detect when the user finishes driving and gets out of the car, then records the parking location or sends a notification (per the user's chosen mode). - Background location is essential because detection must happen while the app is NOT in the foreground — the user is driving. - All location data stays on the device and is never transmitted to any server. To review the opt-in flow: Settings → "Automatic Parking Detection" → toggle on → review the consent screen → grant permissions. (Actual detection requires driving and stepping out of a vehicle.)
