No guessing. No overcharging. No awkward IOUs. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a group — give it a name, an emoji, and invite your friends. 2. Add a bill — snap a photo of the receipt and let AI scan the items automatically. 3. Assign items — tap the member chips next to each line item. Watch each person's total update live. 4. See who owes what — ClearTab computes balances and suggests the fewest settlements needed. 5. Record payments — mark who paid whom. ClearTab tracks it; it never moves money. Item-by-Item Assignment The signature ClearTab moment: member chips on every line item. Tap to assign. Watch the per-person total recalculate instantly. Tax splits proportionally by default. Clear Tax & Service Splitting Tax and service charges split proportionally based on each person's subtotal, or equally if you prefer. Discounts work the same way. Smart Settle-Up ClearTab applies debt simplification — instead of everyone paying everyone, it calculates the minimum number of transfers to clear all balances. Group Spending Insights See category breakdowns, spending trends, and who's the biggest spender in each group. Multiple Groups Trips, rent, dinners, office snacks — keep each context separate with its own members, balances, and history. Activity Feed A cross-group feed of every bill, expense, and settlement, grouped by date. Works Offline Core features work without an internet connection. Syncs automatically when you reconnect. • Redesigned the group Media tab — receipts are now grouped by month and shown as cards with the bill name, category icon, and amount, and tapping one zooms it to full screen. • Fixed mixed-currency groups showing jumbled totals in balances and insights — everything now shows in the group's currency. • Fixed the currency picker sliding under the status bar when the keyboard opens, so the close button stays reachable.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
