Angelschein Fishing License

About this app

Pass the German fishing license exam (Angelschein) with confidence on your first attempt. This app combines the complete official question catalogue for your federal state with clear explanations and a realistic exam simulation. One app for all of Germany, fully offline. ALL 16 FEDERAL STATES IN ONE APP Choose your state and study exactly the questions on your exam. Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia. Not a collection of separate apps, and no re-purchase to switch states. OFFICIAL QUESTIONS, CAREFULLY CHECKED The questions come from the official state catalogues. Every answer was checked multiple times against the sources and the regulations in force. Correct answers are the decisive difference from many cheap apps. UNDERSTAND INSTEAD OF MEMORIZING Each question comes with an explanation, so you truly understand the context and answer reworded exam questions with confidence. FISH IDENTIFICATION WITH PHOTOS Recognize fish species from real images, just like the practical part of the exam. A dedicated fish identification module trains the image questions. REALISTIC EXAM SIMULATION Practice under real conditions: 60 questions, split by subject, and your state's pass mark. You will know before the exam date whether you are ready. READINESS SCORE AND WEAK SPOTS A readiness score shows your progress. Drill the questions you answer wrong again and again, instead of blindly repeating everything. STUDY BY TAGS Filter by tags such as Numbers (minimum sizes, quantities), Dates (closed and spawning seasons) and Species (fish identification). Drill exactly the topics that count in the exam. FULLY OFFLINE All questions, images and explanations are available offline. Study at the lake, on the train or on the go, without any internet. NOTE This app is an independent learning and practice aid. It is not affiliated with any state authority or fishing association and is not official exam material. The official state catalogues and regulations of your federal state always prevail.

After re-checking them against the official question catalogues and legislation, we corrected a number of answers, including for North Rhine-Westphalia, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony-Anhalt. Hints that explained a wrong answer have been fixed too, and the discount offer can now always be closed with "Vielleicht später" (maybe later), even at very large text sizes. New in fish identification: the shuffle icon in the top right deals the species in a random order, so you learn to recognise the fish rather than the sequence. When practising, the answer options are now re-ordered every time you open a lesson, so it is the answer that sticks, not its position. The exam simulation keeps the order of the official question catalogue. Also: the app now shows German on devices set to another language, you can write a review straight from Settings, and resetting your practice progress only affects the selected state. Your existing learning progress is fully preserved when you update. Thank you for your feedback, and good luck with your Fischerprüfung!
