About this app
Maths Monsters turns everyday maths practice into a friendly creature-battling adventure. Kids explore islands, meet collectible monsters, and win battles by solving maths questions pitched at exactly the right level — from counting your very first apples in Prep to fractions, decimals and times tables in Year 6. Choose your curriculum — the Australian Curriculum v9, US Common Core, England’s National Curriculum, or the New Zealand Curriculum — from Foundation/Prep to Year 6. And every question and lesson is fully voiced by a friendly professional narrator, so even the earliest readers can play on their own. WHY KIDS LOVE IT • Collect and grow a team of quirky maths "monsters" • Battle town wardens by answering questions — get it right, land the hit • Hundreds of towns to explore across seven year-level islands • Every question read aloud — listen, don’t just read WHY PARENTS & TEACHERS TRUST IT • Four curriculums built in — Australia (AC v9), United States (Common Core), England, and New Zealand • Fully voiced by a professional narrator — great for pre- and early readers • Thousands of unique questions per year level, so practice stays fresh • Pitched by year: Prep counts real pictures; older years tackle place value, fractions, decimals, money, time, percentages and order of operations • A built-in working-out scratchpad (finger or Apple Pencil) for showing your thinking • A big, friendly number pad — including a decimal point — for typing answers • No ads. No accounts. No data collection. Plays fully offline. EASY FOR THE LITTLEST LEARNERS Prep levels are almost entirely visual and fully voiced: count groups of objects, spot which group has more or fewer, find one more and one less, and recognise shapes — little reading required. GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD Pick any curriculum and year level from Prep to Year 6. Each save keeps its own progress, so siblings can share a device. FREE TO TRY Play one year level with a few free battles. A single one-time purchase unlocks every level and every town — no subscriptions, ever.

What’s New
Battles just got a whole lot louder - thanks to Ava! Ava told us combat felt too samey and needed more "juice". She was right, so we rebuilt it: EVERY MOVE NOW HITS DIFFERENTLY. Quick Count pops your foe into the air, Carry Crunch rattles them where they stand, Pattern Pound flattens them, and a super-effective hit launches them clean off their feet. EVERY MOVE NOW LOOKS DIFFERENT IN FLIGHT. Number Blitz fires a three-shot volley, Equation Surge throws a lance of light, Mirror Strike sends twin bolts crossing mid-air, Number Shield hurls a tumbling slab - eight distinct attack styles in all. THE FINAL BLOW. Win the battle and your opponent is knocked spinning clean out of view in a shower of sparks and debris. Lose, and yours goes flying instead. MORE PUNCH ALL ROUND: screen shake that scales with the hit, impact shockwaves, flashes on critical hits, and attackers that lunge into the blow. EASIER TO READ: damage numbers are bigger, clearer, and now stay on screen long enough to actually read. Thanks Ava - brilliant feedback. Happy calculating!
