Sisu is the Finnish word for the strength you reach for after your normal capacity is gone. This app is built to forge it. Most apps reward easy, tidy habits. Sisu rewards the opposite: facing the one thing you most want to avoid, and not breaking when it gets hard. - Forge. Log a hard thing and rate how much you didn't want to do it. The more resistance you overcome, the more it counts. - The Dodge List. Keep a list of what you're avoiding. The longer something sits, the heavier it gets, and the more it counts when you finally face it. - Pre-commit. Name the one hard thing you'll face tomorrow, then face it. - This Month. How many hard things you forged this month, with your best month as the record to beat. It resets monthly, so there's always a fresh climb. - Trials. Declare a big, hard, long-term thing you've been avoiding, break it into milestones you set, and chip away at it. Every milestone forges you; finishing the goal forges you most. - Temper yourself from Kindling to Unbreakable as your core grows stronger.
