About this app
ATEM Error Logger is a purpose-built utility for video producers, live-stream operators, and broadcast engineers who work with Blackmagic Design's ATEM switchers. It solves one problem, and solves it well: capturing the exact moment something goes wrong during a shoot so you can review, report, or bill for it later. HOW IT WORKS 1. Tap START at the beginning of your session. 2. Every time an error happens — a switcher glitch, a dropped feed, a talent stumble, a client change — tap the big red ERROR button. 3. Tap STOP when the session ends. 4. Enter a project or event name, then email the full timestamped log to yourself, your editor, or your client — or copy it to the clipboard for Slack, Notes, or your invoicing app. That's it. No accounts, no cloud sync, no distractions. BUILT FOR THE JOB • Massive tap target. The ERROR button dominates the screen so you can hit it without looking — one thumb, eyes on the shot. • Wall-clock timestamps. Every tap is logged in real HH:MM:SS so you can cross-reference against your recording timeline. • Screen stays awake. The display won't auto-lock mid-session, even during multi-hour shoots. • Low Power Mode aware. If iOS Low Power Mode kicks in and might override keep-awake, the app tells you. • Haptic feedback on every tap so you know the error was captured without looking. • Live elapsed timer and running error count. • Session summary. Start time, stop time, duration, total errors, and the full timestamp list — ready to send. • Clean, high-contrast interface designed to be readable in a dim gallery or a bright OB truck. PRIVACY-FIRST • No accounts, no login, no tracking, no ads. • Nothing is stored server-side. Sessions live only in memory until you export them. • The only data that leaves your device is what you explicitly send: the recipient's email, the project name, and your timestamps — forwarded via Resend for delivery. WHO IT'S FOR • Live event and broadcast operators running ATEM Mini, ATEM Constellation, or any Blackmagic switcher • Wedding and event videographers documenting take retries and technical issues • Camera assistants and DITs logging incidents on set • QA teams reviewing rehearsal or dress-run performance • Anyone who needs to say "the glitch happened at 19:17:33" with certainty Fast, focused, single-purpose. Built by working videographers, for working videographers.

What’s New
Big update for DaVinci Resolve users. • DaVinci-ready EDL export. Tick the new "Include DaVinci-ready EDL file" box before sending your log and the email now arrives with a .edl attachment. Drop it straight into DaVinci via Timeline → Import → Timeline Markers from EDL to place a red marker at every logged error — no more manual timecode entry. • Timecodes now use DaVinci format (HH:MM:SS:00). Every timestamp in the log and email is now a proper timecode you can paste directly into DaVinci's Source or Timeline field. • Never miss the first incident. If you tap the big red ERROR button before you've pressed START, the app now auto-starts the session at that exact moment and counts your tap as the first log entry. Zero events lost while you're reaching for the START button mid-shoot. • Privacy Policy and Support links added at the bottom of every screen. • Under-the-hood polish and stability improvements.
