The app records your location only when you choose to save an entry. Each entry includes a timestamp, optional GPS coordinates, a reverse‑geocoded place name, and your notes. You can view your latest entry on the Home screen, browse past days using the Calendar, or explore all saved locations on an interactive map. Filters allow you to narrow down entries by date range, making it simple to review specific days or trips. AsanAko works fully offline (reverse-geocoded place names need it though), storing all data securely on your device. If you want to back up your entries or sync them across multiple devices, you can sign in to enable optional cloud sync. Unsynced changes remain stored locally until a connection is available, and you can edit or delete entries at any time. The app does not track your location in the background and only saves data when you manually create an entry.
