About this app

LoveMarkDown is a lightweight Markdown editor for macOS, built for local writing, technical notes, README files, product docs, and Markdown documents that reference nearby image assets. It keeps the core workflow simple: open a Markdown file, write with a live preview, save back to the original file, and export when you need a portable copy. Key features: - Open .md, .markdown, and .txt files from the File menu or by drag and drop - Save back to the opened local file - Recent files menu for returning to active documents - Live Markdown preview with tables, task lists, code blocks, Mermaid diagrams, and math - Relative local image preview, including images next to the current Markdown file - Export to Markdown, HTML, Word, PDF, and PNG - Light, dark, and system appearance modes - Native macOS menu commands and shortcuts - Optional user-initiated feedback from the Help menu LoveMarkDown is local-first. It does not require a cloud account and does not automatically upload your Markdown content, file names, or local file paths. Network-related behavior is limited and explicit: - Anonymous product analytics are lightweight and do not include document content, file names, full paths, source URLs, clipboard content, or feedback message text. - Feedback is only sent when you choose Help -> Send Feedback. Contact information is optional. - Web-to-Markdown may request the URL you enter in order to fetch page content for conversion. LoveMarkDown is best suited for writers, developers, makers, students, and product teams who want a compact Markdown workspace on macOS without turning their notes into a cloud workflow.
