About this app

Wildland Fire Pro puts your Incident Response Pocket Guide and fire-weather tools in one offline app — no signal required, no data leaves your device. REFERENCE, ALWAYS AVAILABLE Browse the full IRPG reference library offline, organized for fast lookup in the field. Find LCES, the Common Denominators, Downhill Line Construction Guidelines, Watch Out Situations, and more without digging through a printed guide. WEATHER CALCULATOR Enter dry bulb and wet bulb readings from your sling psychrometer and get instant relative humidity — the same method used with a standard belt weather kit. Select your elevation band for accurate results at altitude. FIRE DANGER & PROBABILITY OF IGNITION Calculate Probability of Ignition and fire-danger indices from your weather observations, aspect, slope, elevation position, time of year, and time of day — so you can assess conditions on scene, not after the fact. WEATHER LOGS Save every observation as a structured log entry: dry bulb, wet bulb, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, sky cover, and notes. Review past logs to track trends through the day or across an assignment. RADIO BROADCAST SCRIPTS Generate a properly formatted weather broadcast script from your logged observations, ready to key up and read to a division exactly the way it should sound over the radio. EXPORT & SHARE Export and print weather logs and reports using your device's native share sheet — send to email, another app, or a printer, on your terms. BUILT FOR THE FIELD - Fully offline — works with no cell signal or wifi - No account required - No analytics, ads, or third-party tracking - Your data stays on your device Wildland Fire Pro is a reference and productivity aid, not a substitute for official guidance. IRPG content is reproduced from National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) public reference material for convenience. In any conflict, the current official IRPG and your agency's protocols govern. Fire-weather and Probability of Ignition figures are estimates meant to support — not replace — trained judgment, direct observation, and your agency's safety protocols, including LCES. Built for wildland firefighters, engine crews, hotshots, and anyone who carries an IRPG.
