About this app

1000 Great Questions is a deck of one thousand numbered conversation questions in three levels of depth, built for the moment a group is ready to skip the small talk. This is not a trivia game or a party trick. It is a tool for human connection: the questions that turn a table of acquaintances into people who actually know each other. It can stay lighthearted or go as deep as the room is ready for. Pick a level and pull. The question lands poster-size, in type you can read across the table when you hold the phone up. The number is a footnote. The question is the product. THE THREE LEVELS Level 1, Warm Up: icebreakers with actual flavor. Low stakes and lighthearted, the fastest way to get everyone talking. Level 2, Go Deeper: habits, history, opinions you actually hold. The middle depth where real conversation starts. Level 3, All In: the heavy stuff. Fear, regret, clarity, truth. For rooms with trust already in the bank. THE DECK Drawing a question feels like drawing a card: spin for a random pull, with haptic ticks that slow and settle as your question locks in, or type a number to land on an exact question. Every question you land counts as seen, and random pulls skip what your group has already answered, so nothing repeats until you have run all 1000. The home screen tells you how many are left in the deck, and when you want a fresh start, reset it in one tap. Favorites survive the reset. Direct pulls always work: type 247 and you get question 247, every time, with a Seen badge if your group has drawn it before. That makes "pull #247" something you can say out loud in a meeting and land everyone on the same question. BUILT FOR GROUPS - Save the questions your group loved. - History shows everything you have pulled, in order. - Text It sends any question straight to the group chat through the iOS share sheet. - Meeting modes give you four ready-made ways to run a session, with a built-in round timer: Pick Your Number, Choose Your Level, Hot Potato, and One Question, Every Voice. Use it for forum meetings, retreats, road trips, team dinners, date nights, family tables, and any room that deserves better than "how was your weekend." No accounts. No sign-in. No ads. No data leaves your device. Free. From the maker of Forum Timer, and part of the ForumPlaybook.com toolkit for facilitators. The full deck also lives at 1000greatquestions.com, with the same numbering.
