About this app
Guess The Note is a simple, focused ear-training game for anyone who wants to get better at recognizing piano notes and chords by ear, with no music theory required to get started. Guess The Note Listen to a note or chord and tap the matching keys on the piano. Get instant feedback, build your streak, and track your accuracy as you improve. Free Play Just want to explore? Tap any key to play freely—no scoring, no pressure. Free Play mode is available to everyone, no subscription required. MIDI Keyboard Support Connect your MIDI keyboard to play directly on your device. Have a 61-key keyboard? No problem. Simply calibrate it once by pressing your lowest and highest keys, and you’re ready to go. Practice at your level Start with a single octave around Middle C, or work your way up to the full 88-key range. Toggle between white keys only for beginners, or all keys (including sharps and flats) once you're ready for a challenge. Real piano sound Every note is sampled from a real grand piano, not a synthesizer, so what you hear is what you'd hear on an actual instrument. Track your progress Streak, best streak, and accuracy are always visible, so you can see how you're improving over time. Works beautifully on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
