It follows up on what you fumbled, eases off what you've mastered, and remembers exactly where you were weak, so tomorrow's drive picks up there. Active recall, the most effective study technique known, is inherently spoken. Your commute is the only part of your day when your hands and eyes are busy but your voice is free.
