About this app

Emotion Cards helps children put names to what they feel. Kids meet feelings as cards, act them out through five playful games, and collect every one they meet in their own emotion dex. It is not a race to answer fastest — the point is noticing a feeling and being able to talk about it. ■ Five feeling games · How I Feel Now — Point to how you feel right now on four colored squares (pleasant/unpleasant, high/low energy), then pick the card that matches. · Act It Out — Show the feeling on the card using only gestures and expressions, no words. Better with company. · Guess the Feeling — Read a short story and choose the feeling that fits the moment. · Opposite Pairs — Match feelings that sit at opposite ends, like joy and sadness, to learn the full range. · Mind Detective — Ask someone in the room about their day, one question at a time, then guess how they felt. A game about reading other people. ■ Emotion dex Every feeling you meet in a game becomes a card in your dex. See at a glance how many different feelings you have met so far, and reset it whenever you like. ■ What makes it different · For the whole family — play alone, or with a parent, sibling, or friend. · No account, no sign-in — we collect no personal data, and your cards and records stay on your device. · English and Korean — switch languages anytime in the app; it starts in your device language. · Plays offline — a connection is only needed to show ads. · The feeling categories draw on established emotion-education research such as RULER and PATHS. Sources are listed in the app under References. ■ Who it is for · Parents who want more than "I don't know" and "just because" when they ask how the day went · Moments of anger or upset — a feeling becomes easier to handle once it has a name · Practicing empathy: reading a friend's face and guessing what is behind it · Preschool and early-elementary kids building emotional vocabulary and expression ■ Ads and purchases Every learning and play feature is free, supported by ads. To use the app without ads, choose Remove Ads as a one-time lifetime purchase or a monthly subscription. The learning and play features are identical either way. ■ Please note Emotion Cards is an educational tool for learning the words we use to describe feelings. It does not provide medical or psychological diagnosis, treatment, or counseling. If a child is struggling persistently, please tell a trusted adult or a professional.
