Bartally is a tip tracker for people who work for tips. When you clock out, you log the shift in about thirty seconds: your hours, your base wage, cash tips and card tips separately, and what you tipped out to the bar or the busser. Bartally does the honest math and shows what an hour of your work was really worth tonight. The app is built for the end of a shift — big targets, dark screen, no typing marathon. Tip-out is computed live in three ways real bars use: a fixed amount, a percent of your tips, or a percent of your sales. If the tip-out ate more than you made, Bartally says so instead of hiding it; pooled bars know those nights are real. Your pay week adds up as you go. The Today screen carries the week so far, the calendar shows every logged day at a glance, and summaries answer the questions you actually ask: how much this week, how many hours, what average per hour, and how the money splits between cash and cards. If you work more than one job, each job keeps its own wage and tip-out rule, and the summaries break your earnings down job by job. Come tax season, the annual report adds up the tips you chose to claim, shift by shift, with a running view of the qualified-tips deduction cap introduced for 2025 through 2028. The claiming helper suggests cash plus cards minus tip-outs for every shift, and you can override any number — you know your house rules. Bartally shows numbers and cites the IRS; it never gives tax advice. Everything lives on your phone. There is no account to create, no cloud to trust, and no ads — ever. Your records can be exported as CSV whenever you want them, because they are yours.
